Today was our first day at Chiang Mai University. It was the first university in Thailand outside of Bangkok and they just celebrated their 50th anniversary last year. We were given a rundown of the University's history and also found out that the Pharm.D degree here is not a doctorate like it is in the states, but rather a B.S.
This is us in front of the pharmacy building on their campus. It also just so happens to be one of the last pictures we have of Dr. Tanzer, as she flies out tomorrow.
We did some site visits to the University's pharmacies/hospitals as well, including outpatient, inpatient, chemo, and their drug info center.
To wrap up the day, we took a group photo in front of this magnificent statue placed in the center of the plaza in front of one of the university hospitals.
