We had the opportunity to observe real life cases of leprosy and other skin conditions like subcutaneous mycoses that are of high prevalence in south east Asia. (Top picture shows a patient who had a mycetoma infection)
The bottom picture shows the students engaging in a discussion with Dr. Kowit Kampirapap about the unique nature of these infections and how to provide the best care for the patients.
