Buddhist Temples in Bangkok

We finally made it to Bangkok! Yesterday, we had our first cultural experience when we visited the Grand Palace & Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The architecture was grand, intricate, and unlike anything we had ever seen in the United States. For religious reasons, we were not permitted to take pictures of the actual emerald Buddha inside but it was a beautiful altar that you should definitely see if you are ever in Bangkok.
