"My experience in Thailand has been one like no other. Originally, I wanted to participate in this program in order to become a more well-rounded pharmacy leader who was knowledgeable not only in Western medicine, but also alternative medicine. I have to say that this experience has provided me with far more than that. Every day is a new experience that is thought-provoking and places a new perspective on life. From face to face contact with patients who are affected by rare diseases that I have not seen at home, to visiting a children's' orphanage, and just experiencing a completely different culture, I believe that this experience will have an impact on the patients that I provide healthcare to in the future. Finally, I would like to thank all those who have made the experience possible. It has truly been an experience of a lifetime."
